A more intentional wardrobe.
Align is a fashion styling app that helps users feel more confident and intentional about their clothing choices. By uploading or snapping a photo of a clothing item, users select a style vibe — casual, professional, or night out — and receive curated outfit inspiration sourced from fashion creators and visual platforms.
Through an interactive swiping experience, users can quickly assess whether a piece aligns with their personal style and if they should buy it. Blending fashion, technology, and personalization, the app makes thoughtful styling both accessible and fun.
The emotional pain point happens in the dressing room.
Many shoppers struggle to decide whether to purchase clothing items because they cannot easily visualize how the piece fits into their personal style or real-life contexts.
Existing solutions like Pinterest and TikTok are fragmented and inefficient, especially when shopping alone. There is a need for a centralized, visually guided, and personalized system.
"Existing wardrobe apps optimize for organization and long-term efficiency, but my research shows the emotional pain point happens in the dressing room."
Competitive analysis & user insights.
The research phase began with a competitive analysis of existing wardrobe and styling apps — Alta, Stylebook, and Whering — to understand where they fell short in addressing the in-the-moment purchase decision problem.
User interviews and surveys revealed that existing tools are built for long-term organization, not the emotional, high-pressure moment of deciding whether to buy a piece.

From research to high-fidelity.
The project moved through competitive research, user flows, low-fidelity wireframes, and into polished high-fidelity prototypes — exploring visual styling, personalization, and the swiping interaction.

Elegant, high-class, fashion.
The Align brand is built around a moodboard of elegance and high-class fashion — a deep crimson red paired with clean typography and textured backgrounds that feel luxurious without being inaccessible.
The logo fuses a calligraphic script "A" with a clean sans-serif wordmark, grounding the brand in both tradition and modernity.

Swipe to align.
The final app experience lets users snap or upload a clothing item, select a style vibe, and swipe through curated outfit suggestions sourced from fashion creators. A quick yes/no interaction makes the decision feel effortless.
The onboarding flow, high-fidelity screens, and promotional posters all came together into a complete product ready for presentation.
