1. IDEATE

    Problem:

  • lack of representation of small businesses during travel
  • struggling local businesses especially after the pandemic
  • hard to find photos of local travel locations

    Solution:

  • build a platform to represent small businesses
  • give exposure to these businesses
  • have a gallery to share photos taken by other travelers

2. COMPETITOR RESEARCH

    Yelp:

  • showed the most popular place only, didn't showcase local/family restaurants
  • liked how informative and interactive it was with location,photos, ratings
  • a lot of content, can be overwhelming

    VSCO:

  • great place to store photos, especially travel photos
  • UI is hard to use and get used to at first
  • would like to have a gallery just for travel

3. MOODBOARD

  • wanted the vibes to be geared towards film
  • black, white, and blue color palette

4. WIREFRAME

  • first few ideations
  • made a lot of changes moving forward

  • used html, css, and javascript to make the website come to life.
